The iPad Mini 5 and iPad Air 3 has been roaming around the rumor mills for quite some time already. Now, these new members of the iPad family are expected to make its first appearance next month boasting top caliber specifications and features.

According to MacRumors, there have been reports indicating that Apple Inc. is planning to refresh the iPad mini 4 with a new 7.9-inch iPad Pro model. Also, the Cupertino-based company would also refresh the existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models. Hearsays also indicated that Apple will announce an all-new 10.5-inch iPad Pro which is speculated to sport an edge-to-edge display without a Home button.

The iPad Mini 5 which was also known as the 7.9-inch iPad Pro is predicted to feature a Smart Connector and a True Tone display. Similar to the iPad Pro models it would also boast four speakers. As for the camera department, the iPad Mini 5 might house a 12-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera with True Tone flash.

On the other hand, Sports World News stated in its article that the iPad Air 3 is speculated to boast an IP68 certification. This basically means that the upcoming iPad Air will have a waterproof and dust proof capability which is similar to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

When it comes with the enhancements, it is highly probable that the iPad Air 3 will also feature True Tone display just like the iPad Mini 5. The upcoming iPad Air might also sport 3D Touch similar with the iPad Pro line-up. Nevertheless, it has been questionable since Apple needs to slim down the features if the company intends to make the next iPad Air 3 a mid-range tablet.

As for the price, there is no available detail about the cost of iPad Mini 5 but the iPad Air 3 32 GB Wi-Fi only model is speculated to be tagged at $499. Moreover, the mentioned details are just based on speculations and anticipations, thus patrons of Apple are advised to take the information with skepticism.
