"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players will be delighted as another event this year is slated to happen. With the said, occasion Game Freak will be giving away the legendary Pokemon Shiny Tapu Koko for free.

According to Siliconera, Game Freak will be offering free Shiny Tapu Koko for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" through serial codes. Nevertheless, it was also stated that only 7-11 stores in Japan are entitled to hand out these codes containing the legendary Pokemon.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players can redeem the Shiny Tapu Koko code starting on March 17, 2017 up to April 9, 2017. The said code would contain the legendary Pokemon with, perhaps, a perfect IV and it may also be holding an indefinite item.

It was also mentioned that since the serial codes would be comprised a Shiny Tapu Koko, it will have a different look from its normal form. As an alternative for the common orange and yellow base color, the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" event Pokemon will have a peach and black tint.

For reference, Serabii stated that players of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" can only catch Tapu Koko once in the main game. Also, it event hinted that this legendary Pokemon lives at the Altar situated in the Ruins of Conflict after finishing the main story line. The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gamers would encounter this Pokemon at Level 60 at any moment of the day.

Moreover, it is also worth mentioning that Game Freak will allocate the special codes solely in Japan, though it would still work in the game notwithstanding of the region. With this, the players of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" who wanted to possess a Shiny Tapu Koko can look for those eager to vend their codes.

This would be the first time Game Freak will give away free Shiny Tapu Koko to "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players. Nevertheless, the game developer did not discuss whether or not it will limit one code per player upon release of the event on March 17.
