Hollywood actor, Brad Pitt, is reportedly in contact with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, while going through the Brangelina divorce. Several reports have now confirmed that the actor is, in fact, speaking with the "Friends" actress.

E Online, through its unnamed source, has confirmed that Brad Pitt, 53, is in contact with Jennifer Aniston, 43, amid the messy Brangelina divorce. The former couple, as what noted, shares a "friendly but limited relationship."

The news of Brad Pitt reaching out to Jennifer Aniston first surfaced in the issue of Us Weekly. According to Us Magazine, the actor did not have Aniston's number but he tracked it down through "a tangled web" of contacts. He wanted to wish the "Mother's Day" actress a Happy Birthday on Feb. 11 and they started talking soon after, the anonymous source said.

The former couple exchanged several text messages talking about the Brangelina divorce and how he is "having a hard time," Us Magazine reported. Brad Pitt is currently battling Angelina Jolie, 41, for joint custody for their children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The actress, filmmaker and humanitarian, first filed the divorce in September 2016.

This shouldn't really come off as much of a surprise, especially for the fans who have been following Jennifer Aniston over the years. The 43-year-old actress, in 2015, has openly revealed her relationship with the actor, a decade after their divorce in 2005.

Aniston, on her talk with The Hollywood Reporter, said then that she was in contact with Brad Pitt but not on a daily basis. "We wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong," she continued.

Meanwhile, Jolie has recently spoken with BBC to promote her upcoming film "First They Killed My Father" and to shed some light about the Brangelina divorce. She admitted that this is a "difficult time" for her and her family. Further noting that her focus at the moment is their children.
