Big Sean News: Elton John Loves ‘Bounce Back’ Rapper’s New Album

Music industry legend, Sir Elton John, has just recently admitted to American rapper Big Sean that he really likes his new album. The "Bounce Back" rapper, on the other hand, was entirely surprised with the revelation.

Big Sean, whose real name is Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, just recently attended the 2017 Elton John AIDS Foundation's Academy Awards Viewing Party. According to Just Jared, the 28-year-old rapper was at the event alongside his 28-year-old girlfriend, Jhene Aiko. The star-studded gathering took place on Sunday, Feb. 26, at The City of West Hollywood Park in West Hollywood, California.

On Big Sean's Instagram account post on Feb. 28, the "Bounce Back" rapper recalled the amazing moment he had with the music legend. "Thought we was in the Twighlight Zone Walked up to Elton n he said "Love your new album front to back, it made me a fan," the rapper wrote on his post. "But that's just how f****n cool you are man, thanks for having us."

A lot of big celebrities were present at the Elton John event aside from Big Sean and Jhene Aiko, as can be seen in the press release. Some of who attended include Gordon Ramsay, Heidi Klum, Ciara, Bryan Singer, Caitlyn Jenner and many more.

The English music legend is not entirely new to the rap scene - or even his fascination with the music genre. Elton John, according to All Hip Hop, once performed on stage alongside successful rapper, Eminem, at the 2001 Grammy Awards.

The 69-year-old musician even once expressed his interest in incorporating the genre into his music. Elton John, on his talk with Rolling Stone in 2014, revealed he wanted to collaborate with someone who specializes the genre. A couple of names that he dropped in the interview were Pharrell and Kanye West, the husband of famous celebrity Kim Kardashian.

Big Sean's I Decided album is now available in stores. The album was first released to the market on Feb. 3, 2017.
