"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 has returned after a hiatus and going forward it is only going to get more adventurous and emotional. Creator Adam Horowitz has hinted at a lot of action in the second half of the sixth season while Eddy Kitsis has teased about seven songs gracing the upcoming musical.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 took off on Sunday with "Tougher Than the Rest" and it will be more adventurous and angst-filled as the ABC fantasy television series progresses, TVLine claimed. In an interview, co-creator Adam Horowitz had said that when "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 resumes, there would be multiple threads going on in multiple realms at the same time and it would be accompanied by a lot of angst and action.

Talking about the episodes, he said that they will have a lot of regulars. According to Horowitz, viewers would see Snow, Charming, Hook, Young Emma as "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will run the gamut. When asked about Regina, he said that emotion has overcome reason and revealed that the second half of the show would be going in a different way than the audience had thought. What is more, Eddy Kitsis revealed a good deal about the musical.

According to ET, Kitsis disclosed that the musical for "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 was planned in September itself and ABC had arranged a meeting with Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner. Both are big fans of the show and the demand for the musical was something that had been there for six seasons.

He also revealed that the "Once Upon a Time" musical would be a full-fledged episode with seven songs. It would not be some dream sequence and would play a key role in the progression of the storyline. It would have a solo from Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Killian (Colin O'Donoghue) will also lend his voice.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 airs Sundays on ABC at 08:00 p.m.
