The highly popular supernatural drama television series, "The Originals," is set to return with brand new episodes next week. "The Originals" season 4  will surely be showcasing a lot of changes to the landscape in New Orleans as it will be featuring a five-year jump from the events in season 3. With the show set to be premiered in just a few more days, new spoilers have now emerged.

According to TV Line, the premiere episode of "The Originals" season 4 will be titled "Gather Up the Killers." The particular episode will be featuring some big changes in New Orleans, now that Marcel, played by Charles Michael Davis, is currently ruling the city.

After having defeated Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, Marcel had implemented a lot of new regulations in the city he has ruled since then. Among those changes is the permission of un-sired vampires to enter and live in the city. Klaus would, of course, never allow such a thing to take place, which only goes to show the big changes that have occurred in the past five years.

Despite Marcel's good will towards the un-sired vampires, his decision ultimately backfires as a group of the vampires have now come together to remove him from his throne. Having known about the un-sired vampires' treachery, Marcel will apparently be seeking the counsel of someone unexpected in "The Originals" season 4.

The synopsis for "The Originals" season 4 episode 2 on The Futon Critic reveals that Marcel will apparently seek Klaus' help in quelling the un-sired vampires' rebellion. The episode will also see Haley, played by Phoebe Tonkin, and her cohort's attempts at freeing Klaus from captivity. While it is not yet clear how they plan to achieve their goal, it might be possible that Hayley and her group could go after Marcel directly.

"The Originals" season 4 is set to premiere its new episodes next week, March 17 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
