Kate Middleton is said to be facing a dilemma right now with regards to her PR team. It has been reported that her private secretary, Rebecca Deacon will be stepping down from her role after marrying her fiancé, Adam Priestley.

Rebecca has been known as Kate's right-hand woman for almost five years now. She was the one responsible for coordinating all of the Duchess' public and royal events. Often, she was seen handling gifts and flowers for the royals during Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal tours and trips as per E! News.

For Kate Middleton, this is a devastating and sad new for her. It can be recalled that Kate has been considered as a work-allergic royal who declines to do more public engagements than she has to. Indeed, she needs one like Rebecca and her resignation would be very hard for Kate.

Kate Middleton relied so much on her private secretary since she does everything for the Duchess. However, there were also times wherein the royal couple blamed their PR team for all the awful headlines in the press about them.

In fact, the entire communication team of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been criticized for their PR gaffes. It was claimed that William blamed his team for the nasty headlines even if some critics would suggest that he has been the one who is tone deaf over the years.

To illustrate, Prince William announced his anti-poaching initiative immediately after he went on his highly-publicized hunting trip. Obviously, he doesn't want a mistake like that to be repeated in the future.

So far, Kate Middleton needs a PR team who will go in different directions. But some critics claimed that the reason why it is very difficult for the royal couple to retain their staff members is because they hardly listen to their advice.

Some royal insiders would even say that William wants to manage everything that goes behind the closed doors. He even went against his PR team and did not listen to their advice in keeping the media in the dark about his whereabouts as per Daily Mail.

Kate Middleton, on the other hand, hopes to find a PR who is trustworthy enough that can also do Rebecca's job. The potential PR should be able to help the Duchess keep her name off of the negative news.
