Netflix has just renewed Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" for Season 2. And its lead actor, Neil Patrick Harris, celebrated the wondrous moment with a new body ink.

Neil Patrick Harris, who plays as Count Olaf in the Netflix show, shared the joyous moment on his Instagram account earlier this week. "We got picked up for Season 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Events. I got this to celebrate," he wrote with the hashtag first tattoo.

The tattoo - or the symbol, specifically - that Neil Patrick Harris got is actually a reference to a certain group in "A Series of Unfortunate Events." This group, or secret organization, is called the Volunteer Fire department (V.F.D.). According to Huffington Post, this is the secret society that Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire have increasingly involved with throughout the series. One of its former members was the series' main antagonist, Count Olaf.

Netflix made the announcement for "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Season 2 renewal on its newly created website called Vastly Frightening Decision. The promotional website contains one page with a letter for the announcement. It also contains four moving portraits - or GIFs - with Neil Patrick Harris playing as Count Olaf in one of them. Fans can head over to the site to read to the full letter wrote by Lemony Snicket, played by Patrick Warburton in the show.

Neil Patrick Harris is being expected to reprise his role as Count Olaf in "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Season 2. Warburton, Malina Weissman, and Louis Hynes, however, are still unconfirmed for return. But considering that they are all the lead actors of the series, it is highly likely that they will be back for the second season. No official word yet on the release date but some believe it could premiere on the same window as the first season, which is in January 2018.
