"Iron Man 4" could still get the original and always memorable Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr. With so many Marvel films lined up for the next number of years, it is almost certain that one of the actors who started the universe will stay a little longer.

As some may know, Robert Downey Jr. has established his role as Tony Stark for over nine years-seemingly longer than any other actor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far. Putting into account how "Logan" put a fitting last remark to the 17 years that Hugh Jackman played the role of Wolverine, the same is somewhat expected for "Iron Man 4", which the actor has confirmed on being in fruition.

According to Variety, Robert Downey Jr. has answered questions on the upcoming "Sherlock Holmes 3" movie, alongside his partner, Jude Law. Because of this particular high-end film, it can be expected that the "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" will need to free up some time for shooting, which in this case, he may not be putting much into, just yet.

As per the past Marvel posts, "Iron Man 4" could belong to some of the films that the company is setting up in the near future. This goes as far as May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020-all of which are still untitled for the moment. Nonetheless, Robert Downey Jr. could be both part of it and not at the same time. It was said that the throne will finally be given to Riri Williams, and will be better known as "Ironheart."

Other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe include "Ant-Man and The Wasp," "Black Panther" and "Captain Marvel." Will it be a smart move for Marvel to replace Robert Downey Jr. for the role of Iron-Man in "Iron Man 4?" Stay posted for more updates.
