"General Hospital" spoilers would suggest that Ian Buchanan might return as the fan favorite Duke Lavery. It can be recalled that Duke has been one of the most popular citizens of Port Charles and his possible return might excite the fans of the show.

Duke was presumably killed in 2015 wherein he met his demise in Anna Devane's (Finola Hughes) arms because of a mob hit which had gone wrong. His death was so tragic because he was there to meet Anna before he would leave the town and the mob for good. But the "General Hospital" spoilers claim that he will return to support Anna and finally meet his biological son, Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen).

Through the years, Duke Lavery portrayed much of the crime families; however, "General Hospital" spoilers suggest that there is one certain thing about him and that was he loved Anna and her girls. When he was alive, he did everything for them and some of the fans of the show do not see the reason for his return. His return is somewhat sceptical too since Anna is now struggling with her disease called polycythemia vera as per Soap Hub.

But still fans would want for his return since there is so much for him to do and to accomplish like supporting Anna in the midst of her suffering and to meet his biological son, Dr. Griffin Munro. There is another possibility in his return and that is Ian might come back as part of Griffin which is somewhat the same to the way TPTB managed his disappearance during the Liv crisis.

With this, some think that Griffin will have delusions because of the potion that he drank. Then he will firmly believe that he is Duke and fans of "General Hospital" could see him struggle from within, being both as his father and himself as mentioned in TV Source Magazine.

"General Hospital" spoilers claim that Duke Lavery has been a major player for many years and is involved with most of the important characters in the show. Ian Buchanan's return on a recurring basis will certainly be a good news for the fans most especially that viewers are now saying good bye to the character Tracy Quartermaine, Jane Elliot.
