However, Eleanor Tomlinson said that such competition divides the number of viewers and is not healthy for the two shows. In spite of the competition, "Poldark" managed to end with a higher rating than "Victoria." Fans are hoping that "Poldark" Season 3 will also have a high rating.

In the interview, Eleanor Tomlinson also revealed that "Poldark" Season 3 will have thicker story arcs. Characters are also being developed since the earlier seasons. As mentioned, the BBC drama's air date is yet to be announced, but it remains to be in the 2017 lineup.
