Some fans may say that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt regretted getting matching tattoos in Asia back in February 2016. They later announced their divorce in September in the same year.

The matching tattoos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were done by a famous artist in Thailand according to ET Online. Ajarn noo Kanpai, who is also a former monk, was flown to Cambodia while Mrs. Smith was directing her film "First They Killed My Father." In 2004, Kanpai has already tattooed the actress.

The Sak Yant matching tattoos that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have is believed by some to give magical powers associated with healing, luck, protection from evil and strength. The ink is supposed to bind the two A-list artists as husband and wife.

Aside from the matching tattoos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Mrs. Smith has a collection of ink on her body. According to Daily Mail, she has a Gothic letter between her shoulder blades that reads "Know Your Rights" which is a title of a song from her favorite band.

It is not only Brad Pitt that is linked to Angelina Jolie's tattoos. Previously, she has also abstract lines tattoo on her right arm done with ex Billy Bob Thornton. It is now covered with an Arabic script tattoo which means "Determination."

The numbers on Angelina Jolie's arms are the geographical coordinates of the locations where her kids first came into her life. Brad Pitt's entry into her life was reported to be added later on.
