It is hinted that Stallone's role in the film is important in the Marvel comic universe. The role is still full of mystery and there are hints that clues are all over on what Stallone's character may be.

In fact, Director James Gunn shared that he chooses not to reveal the character of Stallone in "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2. He also added that people will find out real soon since there are clues that may lead to the character reveal.

Gunn further shared that Stallone ha just recorded some of the dialogues needed for his character in "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2. He also hinted that Stallone's character can be tied up with Michael Rosenbaum's character in the film.

CBR.com reported that Rosenbaum will also be a new cast that will join in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2. The character that Rosenbaum will portray is also hinted to be very important in the Marvel Universe.

Gunn also revealed that Stallone and Rosenbaum will be a tandem in "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2. However, Gunn only threw away hints about the characters and did not specifically reveal who these are. It seems that fans of the film need wait when the film is aired.

Meanwhile, Comic Book revealed that a new TV Spot for "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2 has been released. It hints of a sibling rivalry between Nebula and Gamora. "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2 is to continue the team's adventures.
