George RR Martin has been reportedly finished "The Winds of Winter" novel as it was allegedly revealed in his blog. Aside from that, the well-known author also hinted that "Games of Thrones" Season 7 will premiere on July 16.

According to Korea Portal, there have been rumors stating that George RR Martin is already done writing "The Winds of Winter" book. As a matter of fact, the well-known author has posted on his blog which somewhat indicates that this speculation might be true. Martin also wrote an entry which was entitled "Season 7 Is Coming" which tackles about the forthcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

Based on his post, George RR Martin has revealed that July 16, 2017 is the official launch date of the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 on HBO. It was also noted that the author of "The Winds of Winter" has given teased the fans of the TV series on what to expect on the impending installment of the show.

George RR Martin wrote that there will be gala premieres as usual but then he is not sure of the details as of the moment of writing. Nevertheless, "The Winds of Winter" author stated he hopes to have another debut party in Santa Fe, at the Jean Cocteau Cinema. Martin further said they will be running a Season 6 marathon in the weeks before the release of "Game of Thrones" Season 7, so that the avid viewers of the series can refresh themselves on the happenings in the previous season.

Furthermore, NME has noted that George RR Martin will be unveiling "The Winds of Winter" novel before this year ends. Meanwhile, the avid followers of the well-known author are persuaded that the official launch will soon be announced. Aside from that, the mind behind "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series has clarified that he is not yet finished with the book yet.

As for "The Wind of Winter" release, there have been predictions that it might hit the market shelves on Sept. 20, 2017, which is the 70th birthday of George RR Martin. Nevertheless, this just based on prediction, thus the author's fans are still advised to keep an eye for further announcements.
