NBC network's crime drama action thriller series, "Blindspot" season 2 is coming back tonight to air another exciting episode that is surely going to pit the fans again on the edges of their seats. Several speculations and updates about the upcoming episode's possible occurrences are already circulating online and fans certainly could not wait anymore.

On the previous episode of "Blindspot" season 2 aired last week, the team found out that the clinic they have infiltrated and all the other addresses were fronts for the infamous smuggler's business of bringing illegal immigrants whose organs are being harvested. On the last part of the episode, Archie Panjabi's character, Nas Kamal was featured getting a call from her Sandstorm source. When she was about to meet the source, it was shown that Kamal was attacked in her car.

The cliffhanging episode got a speculation that Kamal will no longer be a part of the team's mission on "Blindspot" season 2 in finding out the identity of the unknown source within Sandstorm. However, she will be an important factor for them to finally know the mystery identity that they have been wanting to know. It has been reported that this will finally be revealed on this week's episode.

According to TV Guide, the official promo released for the sixteenth episode of "Blindspot" season 2 said that Sullivan Stapleton's character, FBI Agent Kurt Weller, along with Jaimie Alexander's Jane Doe will be disclosing the identity of Nas Kamal's source. While on their mission, they will reportedly stumble with a familiar face from the series which will possibly help them with their problem.

Entertainment Weekly also reported that "Blindspot" season 2 executive producer Martin Gero revealed about the impact on knowing Kamal's source for this season. With the different set of upcoming revelations, several paybacks are reportedly going to be shown. One of these will reportedly be Agent Patterson's (Ashley Johnson) revenge against her former boyfriend, Dr. Robert Borden (Ukweli Roach) who betrayed her and the rest of the FBI by being one of the Sandstorm moles.

"Blindspot" season 2 episode 16, "Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd I Did Live" airs March 22, 2017, on NBC.
