The CW's sci-fi superhero action series based on the DC Comics, "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2 returns next week on the small screens to air another exciting episode. Fans have expressed their excitement online following the cliffhanging events they have witnessed from the series a few days ago and several speculations have also been made.

On the previous episode of "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2, Masie Richardson-Sellers' character, Amaya Jiwe, had initially planned to erase the entire Legion from history but was held back by the other members of the team. The Legends continue to fight against the Legion before Arthur Darvill's Rip Hunter managed to temporarily create a ceasefire for both sides.

The temporary ceasefire that happened on the previous episode of "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2 resulted for the superheroes to take possession of the blood. However, they encountered Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller), both members of the Legion of Doom, and convinced Dominic Purcell's Mick Rory to join them and even gave them the spear.

According to Comic Book Movie, on next week's episode of "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2, Mick Rory will reportedly be realizing his mistakes about betraying his team and joining the Legion. As per the source, Mick will be trying to reassemble the team in the 16th episode and convince the other superheroes to come back to reality, in contrast to the alternate reality they are currently in. It will not be an easy task for him, but because of what he did before, the future of the Legends now lies in his hands.

One of the events that fans and viewers should also reportedly not want to miss out on "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2 is the forming tension between the Legion of Doom and the spear. It can be recalled that they already got the possession of the Spear of Destiny and will supposed to be using the Kalabros Manuscript to activate it. However, there will apparently be a big reason why they need it to be destroyed instead, which will be found out next week.

Meanwhile, Comic Book reported that producer Marc Guggenheim teased a surprise crossover for "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2. No one have reportedly known about this because this crossover was something that the people behind the series liked to keep in secret.
