Amanda Bynes’ Twitter account was recently verified, when the social media website added a check next to the actress’ name, revealing that the account does indeed belong to her.

According to the New York Daily News, the actress’ original account was verified in 2009, the check from her previous account was removed, and her most recent social media presence was just recently verified, although the date of verification was not confirmed.

Bynes had said several times that her account was hacked, in response to some of her degrading tweets toward celebrities and other users.

On Monday she wrote, "F--k the ugly editors of Intouch! I'm not racist! My account was hacked!" in response to the magazine’s report regarding the star allegedly writing a racist tweet against Perez Hilton.

Bynes also wrote insulting messages to Rihanna, posting "You look so ugly tryin to be white" and "Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough." She deleted the messages shortly after.

However, the star blamed the hurtful posts on hackers, stating, "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I'm followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!"

Bynes recently posted messages aimed at various celebrities, including Lance Bass, RuPaul and Chrissy Teigen. She has been commenting primarily on the looks of her fellow peers, tweeting on Wednesday, "Liam Helmsworth is the most gorgeous man on the face of the earth other than Tanz Watson. FYi!"
