Godzilla, the fictional monstrous dinosaur, has first appeared in 1954. The Japanese film which is considered as one of the longest running franchise will be released by Polygon Pictures as one of its upcoming anime. The monster film will have another franchise entitled "Godzilla: Kaiju Wakusei (Monster Planet)" and it will be launched in Japan this November 2017. Meanwhile, Netflix has stated about obtaining the worldwide distribution right to the said film.

Instead of the usual multi-media type of film, the upcoming "Godzilla: Kaiju Wakusei (Monster Planet)" will be released as an anime, and it was the first Godzilla anime concession. According to Crunchy Roll, the upcoming monster anime is dated 20,000 years ahead and earth was ruled by mysterious monsters including Godzilla. However, following a war and defeat, the mankind opted to leave earth by creating an artificial intelligence space ship.

The interstellar ship will take the human way from their own planet and it will take 11.9 light years travel, as cited by Anime News Network. However, a young man decided to go back and wipe out the monsters from "Godzilla: Kaiju Wakusei (Monster Planet)." Haruo, the anime's protagonist, will seek revenge to the Godzillas who took his parents and his home away from him.

The anticipated Godzilla franchise will be launched theatrically at Anime Japan on March 26. "Godzilla: Kaiju Wakusei (Monster Planet)'s" main character voices such as Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, Mamoru Miyano, Takahiro Sakurai, Tomokazu Sugita, and Yuuki Kaji will also come to the stage event, as Droid Report stated.

"Godzilla: Kaiju Wakusei (Monster Planet)" will be directed by one of Japan's most promising director, Kobun Shizuno who was known for his "Detective Conan" movies. It will also be directed by Hiroyuki Seshita, the director of "Ajin" and Knights of Sidonia."
Meanwhile, the hit streaming service, Netflix, has confirmed that it will stream "Godzilla: Kaiju Wakusei (Monster Planet)" this year, worldwide.
