Victoria Beckham was named Glamour magazine's Woman of the Decade at their annual ceremony in London on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old former pop star gave special thanks to her mother in her acceptance speech: "My mum is my woman of the year. I'm sure a lot of people say that about their mums, but she is. She's here tonight."

She also thanked her husband David: "Thank you to my husband, who does everything for me, he supports me, he encourages me to follow my dreams and fulfill my passions."

She lalso told the crowd that there aren't enough women that truly support other women, 

Beckham was in attendance with her 14-year-old son Brooklyn, who she later said was "the most handsome man in the room." The star, who has now ventured into the fashion business, was wearing a dress by Martin Margiela. She said of the outfit, "I like to wear my own stuff but celebrate other designers as well."

The Glamour Women of the Year Awards "honor extraordinary and inspirational women from a variety of fields, including entertainment, business, sports, music, science, medicine, education and politics."

Singer Nicole Scherzinger won Glamour's award for Best TV Personality. She is returning to judge this year the U.K. version of The X FactorRita Ora, singer of hits such as How We Do (Party) and R.I.P. received the award for Best Solo Artist. The Saturdays was named Best Band. Joanne Froggatt, known to many as Anna from Downton Abbey, won the award for Best UK TV Actress.

Other notable winners included Rebel Wilson (Best Film Actress), Rashida Jones (Best Filmmaker), Samantha Barks (Pandora Breakthrough) and Jessie J (Editor's Special Award).

Daniel Radcliffe won the Man of the Year award and was in attendance at the event. Radcliffe will be appearing this year as beat poet Allen Ginsburg in the film Kill Your Darlings.
