Abby Lee Miller is quitting Dance Moms, making a very public statement about exactly why.

Miller has announced that she's done with Dance Moms. The controversial dance instructor took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal exactly why she's quitting the Lifetime reality show.

"I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS," Miller writes in the caption of a photo of her smiling with her students. "FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES AND COSTUMING - TO NO AVAIL!"

The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS. FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/ SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING - TO NO AVAIL! TODAY, I WAS SO PROUD THAT I WENT AGAINST THE PRODUCER'S IDEA (ONCE AGAIN) TO ENTER A COMMAND PERFORMANCE OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE NUMBERS... "WHERE HAVE ALL THE CHILDREN GONE?" ALONG WITH THREE BEAUTIFUL SOLOS! I don't have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people's children successful! I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED - DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT! #dancemoms #season7 #ALDC #aldcalways #newbeginnings #aldcla #alllovedancecourage

Miller's all caps message certainly suggests that she's furious with Dance Moms producers. She goes on to explain that she is quitting after another disagreement with those behind the scenes.

"I don't have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people's children successful!" she writes. "I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED - DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!"

Dance Moms producers reportedly wanted her "Where Have All the Children Gone" dance number to be performed, along with three solos, but Miller went against this idea.

Lifetime has not responded to Miller's bold Instagram announcement, and it's not clear if they knew beforehand if she was going to post this on the social media site. Dance Moms has been airing on Lifetime since 2011. The show is currently on its seventh season, having aired 14 episodes in the 2016-17 TV season.

Lifetime has yet to reveal whether the show is returning for an eighth season, but it's looking increasingly unlikely if Miller is so adamant about leaving.
