The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is one of the most talked about tablets today. But it seems like another contender in the premium tablet market has just entered the scene: the Apple iPad (2017). Tech enthusiasts, of course, would want to know the specifications and prices of these two gadgets to see which one comes out on top.

First up, the Apple iPad (2017), which is now being shipped and expected to land on consumers' doors on March 30, according to Apple Insider. The 2017 model of the new Apple tablet will run using the tech giant's in-house 64-bit A9 System on Chip (SoC). It comes with a 9.7-inch Retina Display screen and runs on the Cupertino-based manufacturer's iOS 10 operating system.

The price for the Apple iPad (2017) will start at $329 for the 32 GB storage variant that only comes with a Wi-Fi connection. However, for those who want to use the gadget as an alternative for the handset, consumers can opt in for the $559 model with 128 GB memory and 4G.

Meanwhile, on the different side of the coin, there is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. As listed on the official website, the new Galaxy Tab flagship will sport the same screen size of 9.7-inch just like the Apple iPad (2017). However, it does come with a Super AMOLED screen with QXGA (2,048 x 1,536) resolution display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is being powered by a Qualcomm APQ 8096 chip under its hood. It is being supported by 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage capacity, which can be expanded via MicroSD up to 256 GB. It runs on Google's latest operating system build, the Android 7.0 Nougat, right out of the box.

As for the feature, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a Stylus Pen support, which the Apple iPad (2017) doesn't have. This is one of the features that makes the Samsung device stand out against the Apple one. But it comes with a price, unfortunately, as it is marketed as a premium device for $599 - with Pen.
