Key specifications and details for the anticipated mid-range handset Moto X 2017 have recently been spotted doing rounds online. The purported leak for the device shows some interesting aspects including its case and the processor.

The claim was first spotted doing rounds on Google+ and was posted by famed tipster hellomotoHK, 9to5Google reported. Unfortunately, the original post made by the leakster has now been removed on the website. Luckily, the publication has saved some of the screenshots that were posted, revealing the key details of the phone.

According to the leak, the Moto X 2017 handset is set to come with Qualcomm's mid-range System on Chip, Snapdragon 625. Its SoC is going to be supported by 3 GB of Random Access Memory (RAM) as well as 32 GB of built-in storage capacity. No mention yet of its support for storage expansion via its MicroSD though.

As for the outer part, the Moto X 2017 leak showed a unique design for the smartphone. It has an all-metal curved body judging by the pictures showed on the post, which was salvaged by 9to5Google. The phone also has a dual-camera setup for its main - or back - that is placed inside a circular bump layout with two LED flash underneath it. There is also a fingerprint scanner located just beneath the dual-camera and LED flash of the Moto X 2017 handset.

In terms of screen, the Moto X 2017 is being expected to sport a 5.5-inch display, pretty much the same as the one found in the G5 and G5 Plus. Sadly, the leak did not exactly reveal any further details about the matter, specifically the resolution of the screen and its type.

It should be noted that these specifications for Moto X 2017 may not be accurate. There is also a chance that it could be different from the actual finished product, as said on Android Authority. That being said, it's best to take this with a tiny pinch of salt.
