According to a source, The Bachelor season 17 star Sean Lowe and his fiancé Catherine Giudice have moved in together before their August wedding.
An insider told the latest issue of InTouch that couple moved into the same apartment together after living in two separate places during his stint on Dancing With The Stars. However, the couple "still have separate rooms," said the insider.
"Moving in is purely a financial decision" said the insider of the arrangement described as a "short term thing."
The separate room idea was arranged so that the couple could maintain Lowe's "born-again virgin beliefs," the source shared.
"Maintaining their values is important to them," the insider said, adding that "they don't want to do anything that could jeopardize that."
The former Texas insurance agent said in a previous interview that he decided to hold off having sex with his fiancée until they get married.
"From my perspective, I've lived life kind of selfishly for a long time," Lowe told The Hollywood Reporter in the April 12 issue.
"Now, I'm going to try to live it the way I know to be right. It's no one's business, and it's just a personal matter for me," he added.
Lowe said in another interview that he was "shocked" that reports kept bringing up his choice to not have sex until he got married, which was never discussed on The Bachelor season 17.
"I'm shocked. I don't know why every tabloid feels the need to talk about it. I've never described myself that way," he told the Daily Beast. "It's a decision that I've made, but I don't think it needs to be discussed on the show. That's my personal opinion," he said then added, "for me, it's a non-story."
Before Lowe was eliminated during week 8 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, the show's host Tom Bergeron revealed that the couple have set a wedding date. According to Bergeron, the big day is set for the month of August this year, and he confirmed that it will be televised.
Bergeron said during a live telecast, "My understanding is that the marriage ceremony of Sean and Catherine [Giudici] is scheduled to be broadcast on ABC in August," before he announced this week's elimination.
Lowe must have been unaware that Bergeron would slip the news. When the show's cameras turned to the reality star, he looked shocked and immediately looked at his dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, for a reaction.
