Nicki Minaj has partnered with Myx Fusions and will be the face of the new bottle of the single serve fruit-infused moscato wine beverage, reported The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

Minaj is part owner of Myx Fusions, which will launch a campaign that will include print, radio and television as well as exclusive events and social media messaging to market the product both in the U.S. and abroad.

"I am so excited to team with the Myx brand," said Minaj. 

"I have no doubt that it will be number one. It's a great-tasting, amazing product that people will love. It's not even a hard sell. Myx Fusions gives us an opportunity to revolutionize the wine industry," she added.

Peter Reaske, Myx Fusions CEO noted that Myx wine products appeal to both wine-drinking and non-wine drinking consumers and that he believes Myx Fusions will have the same inpact on moscato, with the help of Minaj. 

TheTrinidadian-born American rapper announced on May 30 she was departing after a single on the judge's panel of the Fox's American Idol in order to focus on her music. Minaj made the announcement she was leaving her post on the competition show the same day Mariah Carey confirmed via Twitter that she was exiting to work on her world tour. 

Minaj is currently the most charted female rapper in the history of music. The singer and songwriter has sold over 60 million singles as a featured artist, 20 million singles as a lead artist and almost 5 million albums worldwide.She is the first female rapper to chart in five countries and have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. 

Minaj led nominations for rap musicians at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards with seven nominations and three wins including "Top Rap Artist," "Top Streaming Artist" and "Top Rap Album." Minaj recently re-released her second studio album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up" in November 2012, seven months after releasing her second studio album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded," which debuted number 1 in five countries including the US. Since then, the album has become one of the best-selling albums of 2012, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
