Gwen Stefani's kids got temporary tattoos to match their mom's boyfriend, Blake Shelton.

Stefani posted a new photo on Twitter of her kids showing off their new ink alongside Shelton. Her sons, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, all have ink featuring barbed wire surrounding deer tracks wrapped around their arms, much like Shelton's own ink.

Shelton's barbed wire tattoo is frequently seen on NBC's The Voice, where he serves as a coach alongside Stefani, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys.

The matching tattoos suggest Stefani's boys have gotten comfortable around Shelton, enough to show off their bond with new ink, even if temporary. Shelton and Stefani have been dating since late 2015, getting together while filming on season 9 of The Voice. The pair had a very memorable performance together during season 10 of The Voice, unable to look away from each other as they sang their duet, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart".

Stefani took off season 11 as she toured to promote her new album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, but she is back now for season 12. Thus far, The Voice editors have included numerous scenes of Stefani and Shelton flirting and making references to their romance.

Some Voice fans have felt that the focus on Shelton and Stefani was distracting from the actual central premise of the show; various Facebook and Twitter users have expressed their distaste about the continued focus on their relationship.

One of the more significant examples included a contestant picking Shelton to be their coach over Stefani, as she was sitting on his lap. He then asked his girlfriend, "Am I in trouble?", to which Stefani replied, "I pick Blake, too!"

Another moment featured Stefani telling a country-leaning artist to pick her because it's essentially two for the price of one, referring to her relationship with Shelton. Levine quipped that he felt like "the third wheel," in this dynamic and expressed that his fellow coaches flirting so often was a "weird" experience.

The Voice season 12 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
