Nick Viall reveals why he and fiancée Vanessa Grimaldi are taking things slowly at the moment.

Viall isn't rushing into anything with his relationship with Grimaldi, who he met on the latest season of The Bachelor. While the pair is engaged, they are not looking to get married anytime soon.

"We're just taking things slow - we're very realistic about our situation, and that is that this relationship is different than one that might have started outside of 'Bachelor' world," Viall said on ON With Mario Lopez this past Monday. "And so we're OK with that reality and just taking things slow and enjoying those little moments as we move our relationship forward."

Viall is currently a contestant on the new season of Dancing With the Stars, which keeps him busy every day with rehearsals, promo and more. Even if it takes time away from being together, Grimaldi is apparently very supportive of him.

"Vanessa's been my biggest supporter on Dancing," Viall revealed. "We're just kind of doing those normal couple things. We went back home to Milwaukee last week, my hometown, for just one day, which was nice, and just trying to take things slow."

It remains to be seen how long Viall will stay on Dancing With the Stars but based on recent scores it looks like he might be done soon. Viall and his pro dancing partner, Peta Murgatroyd, had a slow start with a measly 24 out of 40 in the premiere. They have since increased their scores incrementally, receiving a 25 out of 40 in Week 2 and a 26 out of 40 this Monday.

While they didn't receive the lowest scores on Monday, they are closer to the bottom than the top so unless they turn things around quickly, it may be over for Viall and Murgatroyd soon.

Dancing With the Stars season 24 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
