A brand new teaser trailer has just been released for the highly-anticipated new fighting video game sequel, "Injustice 2."

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have constantly released new introduction videos for the game's playable characters and this time they are reintroducing fans to the scarlet speedster himself, The Flash.

In the past couple of weeks, fans have been treated to different introduction trailers that included heroes such as the Green Lantern, Doctor Fate, and Firestorm. The companies also introduced several villains, including Catwoman, Bane, Captain Cold, and Scarecrow. Despite each character's amazing new looks and super moves, the latest one of The Flash seems to be the most creative one yet.

According to VG247, the official description for the character describes Barry Allen's return from retirement. The speedster apparently decided to return due to the threat of a brand new enemy and as a chance to redeem himself.

The trailer features The Flash's different moves and combos, but more importantly, it shows quite a unique super move that arguably trumps everything that has been shown so far. Gorilla Grodd, who was also recently featured in his own reveal trailer, is shown fighting the "fastest man alive" in the latest trailer. It only seems fitting that the two face off in the trailer as both are known to be arch-enemies in the comics.

As per a report from Screen Rant, The Flash is shown to break the space-time barrier in several moves within the trailer. His super move shows him traveling back in time and smashing his enemy in various objects including a T-Rex, a Sphinx status in Egypt, and then finishing the move with smashing his opponent against his past version.

"Injustice 2" is scheduled to be released on May 16 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Similar to its predecessor, a mobile version for iOS and Android is also expected to be released shortly after.
