Ex-celebrity couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly shared a brief conversation at the 40th birthday party of their mutual friend, Jennifer Meyer.

According to an anonymous insider who spoke with Us Weekly, the ex-couple were both seen at Meyer's party held at the Peppermint Club in West Hollywood on Saturday, April 22. "They did cross paths and were at the party at the same time," the unnamed source told the publication. "They said hello to each other, but they didn't hang out. It's pretty clear they are moving on."

The former celebrity couple was even spotted chatting on an Instagram Stories video taken and posted online by fellow guest Erin Foster, as reported by E Online. The 32-year-old singer and 40-year-old actor arrived at Meyer's party separately. However, reports claimed that both celebrities left the venue at the same time but in different cars.

Both Bloom and Perry called it quits in February after dating for 13 months - the ex-celebrity couple started seeing each other at a 2016 Golden Globes after party. The actor, meanwhile, has opened up about his break up with the recording artist during his interview earlier in April.

While speaking with Elle UK, the "Lord of the Rings" star confirmed that both him and Perry are friends despite the break-up, further saying that it is good. "It's better to set an example for kids and show that [break-ups] don't have to be about hate," the actor continued in the interview.

Other celebrities who attended the famed jewelry designer's party include Jennifer Aniston and husband Justin Theroux. Aniston's friend and co-star in the hit sitcom "Friends," Courteney Cox, was also spotted at the event. Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren were at the venue as well, along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Nicole Richie, Dakota Johnson and Giovanni Ribisi, to name a few.
