Kim Kardashian has come under fire on social media for a Tweet she shared yesterday about the recent Manchester attack at an Ariana Grande concert, which saw the deaths of over 20 people most of which were young girls. Kardashian has since deleted the Tweet, but she still is receiving a lot of backlash from fans for what many are calling a self-absorbed and inappropriate statement.

"Concerts are supposed to be a place where u can let loose and have fun. So scary to not feel safe in this world. @arianagrande I love you," Kardashian said in the Tweet. The picture attached to the Tweet is what caused the controversy though, and it shows Grande with Kardashian enjoying themselves at a concert from her husband, Kanye West.

The reason for the controversy is that many saw this Tweet as Kardashian trying to draw attention to herself amid the tragedy. The picture shows Kardashian in a revealing outfit in the center of a crowd as fans around her try to take photographs of the concert. Fans are calling her out for appearing vain and self-absorbed during a time when many are still grieving. Kardashian had Tweeted about the tragedy before, sharing her prayers and thoughts for the victims, and those were more well received.

While there are many who are angry with Kardashian for the Tweet, searches are still underway in Manchester trying to find missing girls last seen at the concert. Police have been slowly revealing the identities of the victims who lost their lives when a suicide bomber unleashed the explosion at the concerts' end.

Our condolences continue to go out to the victims and their families during this tragic time.
