A new Game Of Thrones trailer for the upcoming 7th season of the HBO series was released today, and the tone is not pointing to this being a peaceful time for the characters in the fictional seven kingdoms of Westeros.

Ahead of the premier date, which is scheduled for July 16, 2017, the trailer focuses on the main characters and hints at the conflicts they will encounter in this season. Cersei Lannister in particular seems to be in a bit of a pinch, as last season left off with her being crowned as the queen after her son committed suicide. Brutally murdering every enemy that was against her in a fiery explosion in the finale also doesn't really help her chances of having a peaceful reign. Everyone seems to be after Lannister this time around, and with good reason after all.

"Enemies to the east. Enemies to the west. Enemies to the south. Enemies to the north," Lannister ponders calmly in the first seconds of the trailer. "Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it."

Elsewhere in the trailer, Daenerys Targaryen boasts how "I was born to rule the seven kingdoms, and I will." Also making an appearance is Jon Snow, who still reigns as the king in the north. The trailer ends with a stunning shot of one of Targaryen's dragon flying over her troops.

Reception to the trailer has sparked the Game Of Thrones mania in fans. Already a trending topic among social media, the hype in fans surrounding this upcoming season is only expected to grow until the eventual premier date. Until that time speculation is already running rampant on various different forums.
