Playboy model Dani Mathers, took a plea deal and has been sentenced to 30 days of graffiti removal for posting a photo of a naked woman showering at an LA Fitness gym in Snapchat.

Mathers was given the choice of choosing 45 days in jail or do community service, according to reports. Additionally, she will also be serving three years on probation.

"If I can't unsee this then you can't either," Mathers posted together with the picture. She would then go on to share another picture of herself with her hand coyly covering her mouth.

The photograph she took went viral in what has been called a horrid act of body shaming. The fallout has called for drastic repercussions for the invasion of privacy.

In addition to her sentence, 29-year-old Mathers faced other repercussions. She has since had her LA Fitness gym membership terminated, and was fired from her job working at a radio position.

Since the picture went viral Mathers has issued an apology. However, she claims that she didn't intend to share the pictures with everyone, but rather did so accidentally due to her being new to, and unfamiliar with, Snapchat. Instead, Mathers said she was only trying to share the pictures with a friend of hers.

"I have chosen to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know that body shaming is wrong and that's not what I'm about," Mathers explained in her apology. "That's not the type of person that I am."

Many Twitter users are outraged at the sentence claiming she deserved worse.
