Man Of Steel won't be opening in theaters until next week, but Jimmy Fallon has already offered up his own glowing review of the film.

The talk-show host sat down with actor Christopher Meloni on Thursday's Late Night, and he raved at the former Law and Order: SVU star's new movie.

"I've got to tell you, I saw Man Of Steel, blown away," Fallon told the actor.

"This guy, Zack Snyder," the host continued, gushing about the film's director, "this movie's insane. Visually it's insane. I don't know how you did this. I don't know how you pulled it off."

Meloni suggested he wasn't quite sure about that either.

"I've got to tell you, you've got to see this movie. This is how you'll watch this movie," the actor said, as he widened his eye and mouth. "You won't believe it. It's a new generation of how to make an action film."

Actress Amy Adams, was also on late-night TV Thursday, promoting the film on Chelsea Lately; the actress claimed that her 3-year old daughter Aviana seems to fancy her handsome co-star Henry Cavill.

"When she met him, she liked the look of the suit. So, um, when he turned around...she goosed him!" said Adams, performing the motion to Handler, the host.

But Cavill handled the situation good-naturedly, and managed get in a quip himself.

"You know what Henry said?" Adams asked. "'Like mother, like daughter!"

The film's new Superman and Lois Lane do have something in common, Adams also stated: they've both been up for those roles before. Just like Cavill, Adams too had been in consideration for Superman Returns and an unmade incarnation of Superman that involved producer J.J. Abrams.

But the actress remained humble about finally getting the role, even as Handler prompted her to gloat.

"So now you're like 'Haha!'" Handler asked the actress; Adams merely smirked, but calmly responded, "No."
