Khloe Kardashian has revealed arguably shocking news about why she and her now ex-husband Lamar Odom didn’t have any children together.

In a clip for the season finale of E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kardashian went to a surrogate doctor with Kim Kardashian. The two famous sisters wanted to find out if Khloe could carry Kim’s third child for her.

When asked if she has ever tried to have children, Khloe said yes, before she admitted, “I fake tried.”

“I was married but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest so I just kept pretending I was…”

Khloe added she did the fertility treatments for Odom more than herself.

“I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage,” Khloe later told cameras. “I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him, like even when it made me look like I was the problem. But I was fine taking on that burden on my shoulders because he had a lot of other deeper [stuff] to deal with.”

Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in December 2013. But it wasn’t final until last year. The two decided to go their separate ways after Odom was outed for allegedly cheating and having a potentially fatal struggle with drug addiction.

In one incident, Odom was found passed out and unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. Reports said he had overdosed on cocaine and other drugs. Khloe is said to have been by his side the entire time he was in the hospital and help treat him back to health. It sparked speculation that she was going to stop the divorce proceedings but the two ended up finalizing their split anyway.
