Fans of VH1's Basketball Wives saw the awkward moment when Evelyn Lozada exposed Malaysia Pargo and Brandi Maxiell as she said she returned to the show after receiving word that the two best friends would be given the boot. But now, Lozada has taken to social media to go into even more detail.

In the episode, Lozada told Pargo that the only reason she was on the show was because she was told by producers that Pargo and Maxiell would not be present.

The creator and executive producer of the series, Shaunie O'Neal, confirmed Lozada's statement when she said Maxiell and Pargo really didn't have "substance."

Now, Lozada revealed via Instagram that the only reason Pargo and Maxiell are back is because Aja Metoyer and her sister, Christa, "didn't work out" for the series.

She also clapped back at Pargo for her statement that O’Neal, Lozada and Tami Roman were the older women in the bunch.

As for Pargo, she had a few statements of her own on Twitter.

She posted a photo of the definitions of substance on Twitter.

They read, "a particular kind of matter with uniform properties," and "the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence."

It looks like Pargo felt this definition validated her screaming match with her co-stars, Roman and O'Neal, in the previous episode. She added the caption, "You can pay for school, but you can't buy class..."

She also tweeted a few other subliminal messages.

“People act out based on how they truly feel about themselves. It's bigger than you. Let them fight their own inner battles. Pray for them… When you’re a threat, you will always be a target. Always stay gracious.”

Basketball Wives airs Mondays at 9/8c on VH1.
