Carrie Underwood shared a special message for her husband on Instagram on Sunday.

After posting a throwback photo from her wedding to Mike Fisher and sending Father's Day wishes to her own father, the country singer and American Idol alumna dedicated another post to her hockey player husband.

"To Mike, Isaiah is so blessed to have you as his dad," Underwood wrote on Sunday.

"He wants to do everything you do and go where you go. You are an incredible example of what a father should be...patient, kind, loving and so much more. You are never afraid to hug and kiss him or be silly with him. He knows he is loved beyond measure and that you will always be there for him...I always knew that you would be an amazing father and you prove me right every day. We love you!!!"

Days prior, Underwood gushed over her husband in another post.

"Had a lovely night last night celebrating with the players, wives and staff of the @predsnhl ...oh, as well as with this hunk!" she told fans. "We are so thankful for such an incredible season and the amazing group of people we got to spend it with!"

Fisher plays and serves as team captain for the Nashville Predators.

Underwood and Fisher tied the knot in July 2010. Five years later, they welcomed their son.

"Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift!" Underwood shared on Instagram at the time of Isaiah's birth. "Isaiah Michael Fisher - born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!"
