Beyoncé and Jay-Z's twins have finally arrived, but did they come too soon?

The singer gave birth to a girl and a boy, but the twins were born premature and are "under the lights to normalize" a source told TMZ.

According to a report, Beyoncé was not full-term. She revealed her pregnancy on Instagram on Feb 1, which means the twins came sooner than expected.

The babies have been in the hospital ever since their birth due to a "minor issue" and it looks like we now know what the minor issue is.

More details of being "under the lights" weren't revealed, but it is usually referred to neonatal jaundice, which is a liver condition that yellows the skin and eyes of a newborn baby.

Although other information of the twins is still unknown such as their names and exact date of birth, according to a source, the twins and Beyoncé are doing "okay".

In other news, Beyoncé's father, Matthew Knowles, was the first to reveal that the twins have officially arrived.

On Instagram, he posted a digital card that read, "Happy birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad." along with the caption, "They're here!"
