Gwen Stefani reportedly wears the pants in her relationship with Blake Shelton.

Although Stefani often appears sweet and submissive to Shelton on The Voice, an insider claims that she's running the show behind-the-scenes.

"Friends of both Blake and Gwen feel that she has changed him and has given him some structure and actually is the one in control when it comes to their relationship. She definitely wears the pants and he pretty much follows what she wants to do and he is totally cool with it," a source close to the couple told Hollywood Life earlier this week.

As the outlet pointed out, Shelton has admittedly hopped on the bandwagon during several different situations with Stefani.

For example, while Shelton allegedly hates crowds, he gladly embarked on a trip to Disneyland with Stefani and her boys. He even rode on the roller coasters while visiting the theme park, which he's said in the past he "couldn't stand."

The infamous meat-eater even went to a sushi restaurant with his lady love.

"He sees Gwen not only as a romantic partner in his life but she kind of is a Mom to him as well. He really looks up to her and is happy that she is this kind of person in his life, it works for him," the insider added.

Since they began dating in 2015, Shelton has become part of Stefani's family, which includes her three sons with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, Kingston, 11, Zuma, eight and Apollo, three.

As fans may recall, Stefani divorced Rossdale in August 2015, just weeks after Shelton divorced his former wife, Miranda Lambert.

Then, just months later, the couple confirmed their romance with a Country Music Awards afterparty appearance in Nashville, Tennessee.
