Bethenny Frankel's ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, will not go to court until August to address the stalking charges against him.

After allegedly threatening The Real Housewives of New York City star at their daughter's school earlier this year, Hoppy has been dealt with an August 8 court date.

Radar Online confirmed the upcoming hearing on Tuesday.

According to the report, Hoppy sent Frankel hundreds of "abusive emails" and phone calls after their divorce was finalized last summer.

However, this morning he appeared in court in Manhattan to speak about the ongoing case against him.

During the court appearance on Tuesday, Hoppy, who shares one child with the longtime reality star and Skinnygirl creator, claimed he was not yet aware of all of the information obtained by his ex-wife's team of attorneys.

"I request two weeks, by July 11," Frankel's lawyer reportedly said.

Although Hoppy's case won't conclude for another couple of months, he is still unable to contact Frankel.

"You are to stay away from her and deter any communication from her," the judge reminded him at the end of the court appearance.

As Radar Online revealed, Hoppy was offered a plea deal in the case in March of this year but rather than agree to the deal, he chose to instead fight the charges against him.

As fans of The Real Housewives of New York City may recall, Frankel and Hoppy parted ways in January 2013 after just two years of marriage and their divorce took over three years to be finalized.
