Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are going strong but according to a new report, the model may be harboring a secret infatuation with Malik's ex-girlfriend, singer Perrie Edwards.

According to a report, Hadid recently liked and then quickly unliked a photo of Edwards and her girl band, Little Mix, which had been shared by a fan page for the group.

"Gigi actually liked a pic of Perrie...was she stalking Perrie like how else would she see that," one person said in response to the alleged like, via Hollywood Life.

"Gigi leave Perrie alone don't you contaminate her," another person wrote.

"Homegirl lowkey be stalking Perrie on Instagram," added a third.

As fans may recall, Malik and Edwards dated for years and in 2013, they became engaged.

However, two years later, he and Edwards called it quits.

Although Hadid and Malik recently faced rumors of a possible split, Hadid eventually shut down the reports with a throwback photo of her boyfriend as he spoke out about the dynamic of their relationship.

"I can understand how it can look - that you've got these two people in a 'power couple,'" he told The Evening Standard. "That's not something I want to be a part of. I'm with her because I like her and I hope she's with me because she likes me. When we come home, we don't really talk about that s***. We just spend time together as a normal couple, cook food, watch TV, have a laugh."

Hadid and Malik began dating in late 2015.

Prior to Malik, Hadid was involved in romances with Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas.
