The names of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's twins has officially been revealed! There has been speculation that the power couple named them after themselves, however, that is not the case. They named their bundles of joy Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.

Rumi was named after the Persian poet and Sir is named after one of the poet's most famous poems.

Bey and Jay's company owns the trademarks to their names and they filed legal docs on Monday. The documents state that they requested trademarks to be used for various merchandise, such as baby teething rings, mugs, water bottles, rattles, baby carriages and strollers.

Although the Carters have already established a name for themselves, it does not end there. The two singers invested in a Malibu home that cost more than $130 million, which includes four swimming pools, 11 bathrooms, a basketball court and a spa.

Prior to these investments, Beyoncé and Jay-Z keep the arrival of their twins very private. Rumors spread about the day the twins were born due to Jay-Z's absence at the 48th Annual Songwriters Hall Of Fame Induction and Awards Gala.

Speculation also arose once Jay-Z was seen nearby a hospital with his daughter, Blue Ivy.
