Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd got engaged during the season finale of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles months ago and earlier this month, they celebrated the upcoming one-year anniversary of their engagement, as well as the 35-year anniversary of Flagg's parents' engagement.

While enjoying a boat ride in one of the canals of Venice, Italy, the reality star and realtor posted a photo of himself and Boyd on his Instagram page.

"My parents got engaged on 4th of July exactly here 35 years ago in this spot. Here we are engaged one year later," he wrote in the caption of his July 4 photo.

After his photo was shared, Flagg returned to Instagram with video footage of a helicopter ride and informed fans that he and Boyd were enjoying two weeks in St. Tropez.

Following his flash dance proposal in France last year, Flagg confirmed his engagement on Instagram.

"Only once in a lifetime, do you have the privilege of falling in love with your best friend and love of your life. I truly am blessed," he wrote. "On Bastille Day, July 14, Bobby and I were engaged. Watch this sneak peak of our flash mob in Paris. It was truly the most spectacular moment in both of our lives!"

"When you know, you know, and when you just feel it's right, you feel it's right. The first date we had, real date, I knew that I wanted to marry him," Flagg later told The Daily Dish. "My parents were engaged at three months and are married for 34-plus years, so it does happen sometimes. Some people get engaged and wait and get married three, five years later, then get divorced the next day. So with him, I knew he was the one for me. And so I wanted to get engaged."

After his engagement announcement was made, fans met Boyd for the first time on Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles.
