Teddi Jo Mellencamp has reportedly been added to the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season eight.

Just after news broke of Eileen Davidson's exit from the series, E! News shared details of Mellencamp's addition to the reality show and also revealed that the daughter of music legend John Cougar Mellencamp has officially been added to the cast.

According to the report, it has not yet been confirmed whether or not Mellencamp will appear on the series in a full-time or guest-starring role. Although, she's already begun filming for the show's upcoming season, which is expected to air sometime later this year.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills began filming season eight weeks ago and production will likely continue for the next few months.

A short time after Mellencamp's addition to the show was revealed, Radar Online shared several facts about the show's newest cast member.

As the outlet explained, Mellencamp runs a fitness blog, LAWorkoutJunkie.com, and describes herself as an "accountability coach" on Instagram. As for her personal life, Mellencamp is married to Edwin Arroyave and has two children and one stepchild.

Rumors of Davidson's exit from the show first began swirling last week when returning cast member Camille Grammer shared a photo of the cast, including Mellencamp and Adrienne Maloof, however, Davidson was noticeably absent.

In the photo, which was shared from Las Vegas during a girls' trip, several women were seen, including Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley and Erika Girardi.

As for the roles of returning cast members Grammer and Maloof, it has not yet revealed whether the women were in attendance during the Sin City trip for a couple of guest-starring roles or if they've been hired back as full-time housewives.
