Peggy Sulahian recently underwent surgery.

Ahead of her debut on The Real Housewives of Orange County's 12th season, Sulahian took to Instagram where she shocked fans with a hospital photo.

"Hopefully this will be my last surgery, moments away from getting some drugs and at goodnight," Sulahian wrote in the caption of a photo of herself in a hospital bed.

Right away, several of Sulahian's fans and followers wanted to know what was happening with the newest addition to The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, Sulahian stayed silent about the issue until days later when she returned home and shared a photo of the flowers she received from her friends and family.

"Thank you so much to everyone for all the love and support! Your prayers and thoughts mean so much to me," Sulahian wrote in the caption of her second photo.

In response, Sulahian received a kind message from her co-star, Vicki Gunvalson, who is Bravo's longest running housewife with a whopping 12 seasons under her belt.

"Wishing you a quick recovery. Let me know when you are up for visitors," Gunvalson wrote in the comments section of Sulahian's photo.

Although Sulahian stayed silent about the nature of her surgery, it was likely related to her double mastectomy. As Bravo TV explained to readers in their bio for Sulahian, the new reality star opted to have her breasts removed after doctors discovered a lump.

To see more of Peggy Sulahian and her family, including Diko Sulahian and their three kids, be sure to tune into tonight's new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
