Kailyn Lowry is doing her best to stay positive, despite her ongoing drama with baby daddy Chris Lopez.

As she nears her due date for her third child, the Teen Mom 2 star is reportedly quite angry with her former boyfriend.

“She’s still very, very angry with Chris but she’s trying not to let those emotions take over,” an insider told Hollywood Life on July 27. “She wants to stay happy and positive for her kids, she hates it when they see her crying. She’s not letting her anger take over but she’s certainly not going to let Chris just skate away on this.”

Lowry and Lopez dated for just months at the end of last year. Since then, Lowry has been preparing to welcome her third child alone.

“She’s going after him financially, she doesn’t really need the money — it’s more about making him pay,” the source explained. “She can’t stand that he’s just totally turned his back on her and their baby, and she’s not going to let him get away with it.”

“It’s been much harder than most people realize because she’s still heartbroken over the way Chris treated her,” the insider added. “They were friends way before things ever got romantic between them.”

Lowry is already mom to seven-year-old Isaac and three-year-old Lincoln from previous relationships and said to be sad that her relationship with Lopez didn't work out.

“He made all kinds of promises to her and she thought she could trust him and count on him,” the source continued. “It all came crashing down when she realized that he was lying to her and sleeping with tons of girls behind her back. Chris turned out to be an entirely different person than she thought. It was devastating.”
