Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently celebrated the birthday of a friend and during their night out, she nearly splurged her boyfriend of nearly two years.

According to a new report, the 47-year-old mother of three was hoping to treat her boyfriend to a special gift days ago but ultimately chose not to. As a source explained, Stefani and Shelton took a tour of the Beauty & Essex restaurant and “stopped in the guitar room for a while."

"Blake was really impressed with one of the vintage guitars we have on display and Gwen offered to buy it for him right off the wall,” a source told Hollywood Life on July 28.

While Stefani made a sweet offer, Shelton, who is known for his low-key lifestyle in Oklahoma, “laughed it off.”

“She obviously loves to spoil him,” an eyewitness shared.

Although Shelton didn’t leave the restaurant with the vintage guitar, Stefani likely spoils him with lavish gifts all the time, the source suspected. After all, the pair appear to be extremely in love and insisted on sitting next to each other during their friend's birthday dinner.

“Whey they first sat down, Gwen and Blake were on opposite ends of the table, but then by the time the food came out they’d rearranged their seats so they could be right next to each other," the insider revealed.

Stefani and Shelton began dating one another at the end of 2015 after Shelton announced his divorce from Miranda Lambert in July 2015 and Stefani announced her split from Gavin Rossdale, the father of her three sons, the following month.

The Voice season 13 premieres on Monday, September 25, at 8 p.m. on NBC. However, Stefani won't be seen alongside her her boyfriend on the installment.
