Ronnie Magro and Sammi Giancola had one of the most talked about romances of Jersey Shore but sadly, ahead of the Jersey Shore reunion special, they called it quits.

Following their breakup, Magro moved out to Los Angeles to film the E! Network reality series Famously Single and during Sunday night’s new episode of the show, the 31-year-old opened up about his tumultuous past relationship with Giancola.

“Why aren’t you with Sam?,” Magro was asked during a therapy session, via Life & Style magazine.

"I don't think that she ever fulfilled me inside," he told the doctor. "I guess that's why I cheated. Maybe she wasn't exactly what I needed."

In December of last year, Magro went public with a new relationship with his Famously Single co-star Malika Haqq.

“We had a lot in common from the start, and it was a
n instant friendship. The attraction quickly became a mutual romance," the said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. "Our support for one another through this challenging experience made us strong in a very short period of time. We had an opportunity to really get to know each other living in such close quarters."

Then, weeks later, Magro and Haqq called it quits.

As for Giancola, she's also moved on from Magro and recently showcased her new boyfriend on Instagram.

"We've met him and he is such a sweet guy. He makes Sammi happy, so he’s good in my book," Giancola's co-star, Jenni Farley, revealed to In Touch Weekly magazine. "They have both moved on — the show was so long ago now."
