Lamar Odom will likely release his new book before the end of this year.

During the Beverly Hills launch event for iGo.live, the former NBA star and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian revealed that his tell-all autobiography will be out "soon."

“Hopefully by the end of the year,” Odom confirmed to Life & Style magazine, via a report on August 2.

Continuing to the outlet, Odom said that the idea to write a book came to him soon after his 2015 hospital stay, which followed his October 13, 2015 drug overdose.

“In rehab is when I thought about writing it,” he said, adding that he is currently in “a great place mentally and physically."

Odom first announced his plans for a tell-all book last month.

“I have a book coming out, an autobiography about my life,” he revealed to In Touch Weekly magazine at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports awards on July 13. “[The book will cover] everything. Everything. It’s a free-for-all. [I’ll be] open about everything that’s been going on in my life, about the past.”

“Lamar is going to include never-before-told secrets about cheating, sex, and drugs, the booze, the pills, the cocaine, all of it,” an insider added.

According to the source, Odom "has nothing left to lose" and everything to gain with his upcomig tell-all, which could garner him as much as $10 million.

Odom suffered a drug overdose in late 2015 while partying at a brothel outside of Las Vegas and spent months in the hospital recovering. He then entered into a treatment center in an effort to ensure his future sobriety. Since then, he has reportedly be sober and thriving.
