Is Leah Messer neglecting her three kids years after losing primary custody of her twins, seven-year-old Ali and Aleeah, and four-year-old Adalynn?

Although the mother of three recently became much busier with her life outside of her family, her time away from home is for a good cause and during last night's episode of Teen Mom 2, she opened up about her "neglect" while chatting with her co-star, Kailyn Lowry, who recently became a mother of three herself.

“Recently I started college,” Messer told Lowry, according to an August 14 report by Radar Online. “The campus is like an hour away and I feel like I’m neglecting my kids a little bit. I feel bad.”

“You’re not neglecting them,” Lowry responded. “This is something you want to do and have to do for yourself. Don’t feel bad. Be patient with yourself because honestly if you’re overwhelming yourself and thinking you’re neglecting your girls it’s going to show with your school work.”

Continuing on, Messer said that while she doesn’t want to have to drop out of school, she may soon switch to online classes so that she can be at home with her daughters more often.

As Teen Mom 2 fans may recall, Messer was accepted into West Virginia State University at the end of last year but, at the time, she told her fans and followers on Twitter that she was undecided on her major.

Messer shares her twins with Corey Simms and her youngest daughter with Jeremy Calvert.
