Reports confirmed that HBO is developing for to five prequel series of "Game of Thrones" and these will be considered as spinoffs already of the show. Moreover, one of its writers, George R.R. Martin revealed that one of its prequels will tell stories which can be labeled as a past event.

Meanwhile, according to Spoilers Guide, another writer assigned for the spinoff series, Jane Goldman also shared some updates to the fans regarding the project. When she was asked if this will also feature stories that are already familiar to the readers of "Game of Thrones", she gave a positive answer.

Goldman further explained that for someone who already watched the series, he can recognize one of the series as a past event. But she claimed that's perhaps as far as she can go and that could mean almost anything. But it was already confirmed by HBO before that the prequels will no longer feature Robert's Rebellion or the Dunk and Egg series.

But, this early in the process of developing spinoff series for "Game of Thrones", Goldman was not yet given green light for a full development. The only report which was shared was that HBO will develop several ideas and will choose one it likes the best.

When it comes to "recognizable" as the term being used to describe one of the spinoff series, some fans were thinking if this will also show supernatural elements like Dragons and White Walkers. Goldman then revealed as reported on Winter is Coming that perhaps those things will also exist in the said prequels since those were the things that author George has created. It looks like Goldman is already sharing a lot of spoilers even if she just started working on the franchise.

Apart from this, it was also reported that if in any case, Goldman has an idea as to how "Game of Thrones" will end, she is keeping it to herself. Then when it comes to what will happen to the spinoff series, she revealed that nobody knows at this stage yet but what is certain is that HBO is very determined to develop something to be aired sooner than later.
