Pregnant Kate Middleton knows just how to make a penny scream, as she recently dressed her baby bump in an inexpensive $29 dress from Asos.

The Telegraph reported that after people saw the Duchess of Cambridge spotted in the jersey maternity dress last week when she shopped for furniture for her unborn child's nursery, thousands of women reportedly bought their own versions of it, which is on sale on Asos.com

The 31-year-old paired the knee-length dress with a pair of wedges and a pink cardigan. Because the dress has become so popular, Asos announced that they will be expanding the colors so that they are available in navy, cream and orange, The Daily Mail reported.

Meanwhile, Middleton and Prince William won't have long until they meet their royal baby.

Enstars reported earlier that the Duchess' last of public engagements will be July 15.

It was initially reported that Middleton would be going maternity leave on July 13, but she decided to add another event to her calendar, in which she will celebrate the Queen's birthday on the 15th of July.

Cosmopolitan UK noted that a spokesperson for St. James Palace confirmed that Middleton will be present at the Trooping of the Colour ceremony, accompanied by the rest of the royal family.

Despite the public outings, the soon-to-be royal parents have been busy preparing for the arrival of their little one.  They are reportedly dishing out $1.5 million in renovations to prepare their Kensington Palace apartment for when the little boy or girl gets here.

"Some might say it's a little dull," a friend told of the royal couple Vanity Fair, "but they love it. I saw William recently and he is so happy. They've grown out of clubbing and have no interest in parties. They just enjoy being together at home. No one bothers them in Anglesey, there are few paparazzi, and they love the countryside."
